Huffington Post finally figured out how to get rid of me and other critics

December 11, 2013 noon PST

Huffington Post instituted a new procedure today for posting.  In order to place a comment on Huffington Post, a user will have to have a Facebook account.  A commenter's Huffington Post username will be posted along with the commenter's Facebook username.

That's it for me.  I already have become the target for harassment 24-7 by some troll who's accessed the leased phone lines of a San Diego area company that owns thousands of lines all across the country and leases them out.  I am totally unwilling to expose myself to even more harassment by helping trolls find my Facebook page.

The take-home lesson here is that Huffington Post is part of Big Media, a key component of the corporatocracy that operates America for its benefit and in opposition to the benefit of We The People.

I had wanted to comment on Huffington Post today that no one should be surprised that Congress appears poised to reduce the benefits of the unemployed and to take away food stamps.  Congress is part of the corporatocracy too;  it is the Big Politics piece.  Other pieces are:  Big Military, Big Defense, Big Finance, Big Insurance, Big Government, Big Ag, Big Energy, and Big Pharma.

The corporatocracy is tightening its control over America.  There is only so much money available, and the struggle is on to capture it.  The corporatocracy is seizing money from the poor and unemployed for itself.

Where is the outrage?  Where are the people pouring out into the streets?  Of course, the corporatocracy would welcome that, because then they could shoot a few protestors and Big Media would tell the story about how dangerous the protestors were, and we protestors would learn the lesson we learned from Kent State that protest in America will be met with deadly force.

Now it's too sensitive to suggest that Obama is a tool of the corporatocracy

December 8, 2013, 5:14 PM PST

Obama always was and still is the tool of the corporatocracy.  He ran a campaign that made him seem to be a representative for We The People.  That was advertising.  It was no different than Chevron saying they care for the environment while they frack and pollute and greenwash themselves.  Obama, like Romney, and every other political figure except for Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Sherrod Brown, is in the pay of the corporatocracy.  The defining battle of our time is the struggle between human being citizens and corporations.

---------------------------

Huffington Post ran an article this afternoon about leaked documents demonstrating that the Obama administration wants to grant "radical new powers to corporations."  That was the article Huffington Post ran.  So, I commented as above, and was told my comments were delayed because of the sensitive nature of the subject.  Hell, Yeah it is sensitive.  America and with it much of the world is being taken over by corporations.  Corporations do not care for We The People and do not care for the environment.  Unfortunately for We The People, Huffington Post is just like the New York Times and the rest of the mainstream media in that it is owned and operated by the corporatocracy that operates America and much of the world for its benefit, not for the benefit of We The People.  I hate hypocrisy and I hate Huffington Post for masquerading as a liberal media organ when actually it is an organ of the corporatocracy that is screwing We The People.

Now it's not okay to suggest the banks own the DOJ

Monday December 2, 2013 3:53 PM PST

Of course the DOJ let the banks off the hook, because the banks own the DOJ.  The DOJ works for the banks, not for We The People, and if you thought differently you need to wake up.  We live in a corporatocracy, not a democracy.  The votes of citizens do not count.  Only the money of corporations counts.  We The People have no power;  only the corporations have power.  The corporations own 5 of the nine supremes and that's all they need.  They own all of the senate except for Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Sherrod Brown.  They own almost all of the House of Representatives, and they own most of the governors and state houses in the nation.

---------------

Huffington Post ran a story about how the DOJ would not punish the banks for insider trading and credit default swaps, actions that materially damaged the government (lost taxes) and hurt We The People by taking down our system of business enterprise and wrecking the economy.

I wrote the above comment pointing out how the banks own the DOJ and most of the rest of the government at the federal as well as at the state level.  Censors at Huffington Post said my comment was too sensitive and would be delayed.  No surprise here.  Huffington Post is owned by AOL Time Warner which is a major participant in Big Media which is one of the essential components of the corporatocracy that operates America and much of the world for its benefit, and not for the benefit of We The People.  It should be pointed out that We The People paid for all the infrastructure the the corporatocracy absolutely requires for its operations.  We paid for the satellites and transmission lines that carry the banks' data.  We paid for the highways Big Transportation uses to move its products.  Oh, we also pay for the operations of Big Military that the corporatocracy uses to defend its operations and to attack defenseless countries and justify the bloated defense budgets that Big Military and Big Defense use to create massive fortunes for the 1%.

So, of course Huff Po censors would think my comments are too sensitive, because my comments expose the hypocrisy of Huffington Post:  it masquerades as a liberal medium, but it is in fact a very conservative operation.

Exorcising homosexuality is too sensitive for Huffington Post

November 21, 2013, 1:08 PM PST

Maybe Paprocki was trying to exorcise the pedophilia and homosexuality from the Catholic Church.
----
Due to the potentially sensitive nature of this article, your comment may take longer to appear publicly.

--------------------------------

Huffington Post published an article about Bishop Paprocki conducting an exorcism in Illinois to remove homosexuality from the state legislature that approved gay marriage.  Hey, there's the article.  Huffington Post did not think the article itself was too "potentially sensitive" to publish, but when I commented that maybe Paprocki was trying to exorcise pedophilia and homosexuality from the Catholic Church THAT was too "potentially sensitive" for the censors at AOL Time Warner's faux liberal web site.

Now global warming is "sensitive" at Huffington Post

November 29, 2013,  12:55 PM PST

As the arctic ice melts, methane that is presently stored in a semisolid form on the ocean's floor is released and that will put the global warming beyond our ability to control. You can see Thom Hartman's video, "Last Hours" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_IklxOK1Vc

It's important to realize that Big Energy and Big Finance will not stop polluting the planet with greenhouse gases, because they are driven by greed and an obsession with short-term profit. Corporations are not people. Corporations do not fear global warming and rising sea levels and species extinction.

In order to stop global warming, we humans must change the way we live.
-------
Due to the potentially sensitive nature of this article, your comment may take longer to appear publicly.

-------------------------------
Now the censors at Huff Po are saying that speaking truth about global warming is "potentially sensitive" and must be reviewed.  Huffington Post is owned by AOL Time Warner.  It is a major player in Big Media, which is an essential component of the corporatocracy that operates America and much of the world for its benefit.  Big Military, Big Surveillance, Big Pharma, Big Ag, Big Insurance, Big Medicine, Big Politics, and Big Government unite with Big Energy and Big Finance and Big Media to form the corporatocracy.  We The People are no longer represented.  We The People are a crop to be harvested for our money, our health, our attention, our lives.

Now Elizabeth Warren's call to expand Social Security is "sensitive"

November 18, 2013, 9:10 PM PST

Hooray for Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Sherrod Brown. Thankfully we have three U.S. senators who are speaking truth.

Due to the potentially sensitive nature of this article, your comment may take longer to appear publicly.

-------------------------------

Elizabeth Warren joined Bernie Sanders and Sherrod Brown to call for an expansion of Social Security by linking cost of living adjustments to the actual cost of living.  She criticized the "chained CPI" that is based on the idea that an increase in prices motivates people to buy cheaper products and so Social Security benefits should not be increased.  This amounts to cutting Social Security benefits, Warren said, which is accurate.

So I posted a comment praising Warren, Sanders, and Brown, and the censors at Huffington Post said the post is too potentially sensitive to be posted immediately.  Even if it is eventually posted, it will appear on page 117 of 250 and no one will see it, because Huff Po readers only read the most recent posts.

What I get is that Huffington Post, which is owned by AOL Time Life, is part of Big Media, one of the key elements of the corporatocracy that operates America for its benefit.  Big Media and the rest of the corporatocracy hate Elizabeth Warren because of her progressive politics.  What they really hate is that she stands up for We The People against the corporatocracy. THAT is why my praise of Warren is too sensitive:  It is too sensitive to the greedy sensibility of the corporatocracy.

We The People need to wake up and take back our country.

Huff Po censors think commenting on Rob Ford's weight is "sensitive."

November 18, 2013, 9:47 AM PST

Rob Ford should run for rehab and run for the gym and run for his life, because as overweight as he is he's a cardiac arrest waiting to happen.

Due to the potentially sensitive nature of this article, your comment may take longer to appear publicly.

----------------------------------
Oh, the potential for sensitivity!!!!  What crap.  Anything I post at Huffington Post is now tagged as potentially sensitive.  The original article reported that Rob Ford intends to run for Prime Minister of Canada now that the City Council of Toronto has stripped him of all his powers as mayor.  The man is at least as overweight as NJ Governor Chris Christie who had lapband surgery that doesn't appear to be having much effect on his weight.  Rob Ford breaks a sweat just standing.  He needs rehab as much a Robert Downey Jr. or Amy Winehouse evey did.  He is at risk for a heart attack and Type II diabetes as well as for drug overdose.  Why, Huff Po, is this "potentially sensitive"?

Huff Po dislikes comments that humans are complacent about global warming

November 17, 2013, 10:06 AM PST

"Complacency" the weatherman said can cause people to be taken by surprise by an intense tornado. Complacency about global warming is why we're having intense tornadoes and will continue to do so.

Due to the potentially sensitive nature of this article, your comment may take longer to appear publicly.

 -----------------------------
So many topics are considered "sensitive" by Huffington Post.  At least they're sensitive when I mention global warming. . . . or a host of other topics.  Huffington Post is protecting the delicate sensitivities of human beings.  The people of the Philippines were apparently in a state of complacency about the effect of global warming on the intensity of hurricanes.  The people of New Orleans were in a state of complacency about the effect of global warming on the intensity of hurricanes.  Same with the people of New Jersey.  The Congress of the United States is in a state of complacency about global warming.  The people of America are in a state of complacency.  The Big Energy and Big Finance corporations that benefit from continued generation of greenhouse gases are intent on keeping We The People in a state of complacency.  Sadly, global warming will fry the rich and the poor alike.  Rising sea levels will drown the wealth as well as the destitute.

HuffPo dislikes praising Anonymous hackers

November 16, 2013, 5:53 AM PST

I am very happy that Anonymous exists and hacks the FBI and other agencies. FBI, NSA and the dozen or more secret surveillance agencies are the tools of a repressive regime that wants all the power to pry for itself and criminalizes all dissent.
----------------
Due to the potentially sensitive nature of this article, your comment may take longer to appear publicly.
------------------------
What you see here is my comment to an article describing how the Justice (sic) department is upset that Anonymous hackers have penetrated servers at the FBI and in other agencies.  One poster said "It's fine with me (that Anonymous hacks) because the government is doing it all the time itself."  Another poster said Anonymous were enemies of the state.  I wonder why Huff Po censors questioned my comment?  Was it because I called attention to the FBI and NSA as tools of a repressive regime?  They certainly are, but apparently Huff Po censors don't like that truth being exposed.  Huff Po decries the Russian repressive regime that jails Pussy Riot for making music that violates Putin's idea of a just society, but Huff Po censors an American citizen who calls attention to our own repression.

HuffPo dislikes calling attention to stupidity

November 15, 2013, 4:54 PM PST

The Lafourche City Council is apparently for uneducated people from the bottom of the gene pool who wouldn't be hired as a Walmart greeter.

---------------------------------

Lindel Toups who sits on the Lafourche Parish City Council said that Mexicans might learn English in a library and "that son of a bitch should go back to Mexico."  He also said that libraries are where hippies go to look at drugs on the Internet.  I thought this comment by a public, elected official indicated a level of stupidity that required mocking, so I wrote the above comment.  It was deleted, "Due to the sensitive nature of the subject."

Well, yes the subject is sensitive!  It hurts me deeply that Louisianans  elect officials who make ignorant, racist, white supremacist comments like the one Mr. Toups made.  Mr. Toups has access to the media (Huffington Post) to spew his bigotry, but comments mocking stupidity are deleted.  Oh, well, I was able to publish my mockery here and explain the point of it.

Huffiington Post dislikes comparing super-rich to Maria Antoinette

November 2, 2013, 9:46 AM PDT

Marie Antoinette had the same attitude as the super-rich and their toadies, the Republican Party.  It cost her her head.  The super-rich make money off endless war because they invest in Big Defense.  The Congress is bought and paid for by Big Defense, Big Energy, Big Pharm, and the rest of the corporatocracy that operates America for its benefit.  We The People receive absolutely NO benefit from Big Defense.  The super-rich are stealing from We The People, stealing the food out of us seniors' mouths and the mouths of American babies.  Revolution is the answer.  Then we'll see that the intention of Big Defense all along was to defend the super-rich against We The People.

------------------------------------

Gee this seems like a reasonably accurate comment.  Yet, when I submitted it, I received a prompt saying there was an error in posting my comment.  I tried several more times and then it became clear that Huffington Post was not going to allow me to compare the 1% to Marie Antoinette, was not going to bring her fate to the awareness of the Huff Po readership, was not going to allow me to notice that the corporatocracy steals from We The People to feed its own insatiable craving for more and more money, and was not going to allow me to suggest that revolution is the only answer and that if we do revolt we will quickly learn that all that money given to Big Defense will fund suppression of We The People.  The 1% has bought the ballot box and all three branches of government.  It's time for a General Strike.  Give us Universal Health Care, give us our food stamps, stop attacking Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid, raise taxes on the super-rich, and drastically reduce the military.

Huff Po censorship at its most ludicrous

October 30, 2013, 11:02 AM PDT

This comment is pending approval and won't be displayed until it is approved.

Here NSA, crack this code for world domination:

aoeiytbna.ep98375ba0poihmo10234975bnMINO;hinna.lopiiin 44478950p93qe4n minbinaty

---------------------------------------

Even this post was held for review by the censors at Huffington Post.  The "code" I posted was created by randomly striking keys on my computer.  Ha Ha Ha.  I am blown away by the possibility that the PRISM program could spend hours and hours attempting to crack this code.  I am scared to death that NSA could show up on my doorstep one day and take my computer because they can't figure out what my plan for world domination is.  Yet I will go forward with my monkey-wrenching scheme.  I don't have the means to travel to Russia or to join Mr. Assange at the Ecuadorean embassy in London.

HuffPo Censors screen comment calling for Cheney's arrest

October 29, 2013, 6:29 PM

I still have a bumpersticker reading "Impeach Cheney and Bush." Cheney's name is first, because he was the "gray eminence" behind Bush's facade, the real power in Washington during those awful years. Yes, arrest and prosecute Cheney. He should be treated exactly like Pinochet or Milosovec.

------------------------------------------

Huff Po is a tool of the corporatocracy that has operated America for its benefit for three decades.  Clinton was a tool of the corporatocracy and so was Bush.  Reagan was the first.  Bush was a war criminal and so was Cheney.  They authorized murder and torture.  I'm not going to defend Obama in this regard.  He has murdered and tortured with impunity.  Milosovic and Pinochet were arrested and prosecuted.  If Cheney has the gall to leave the U.S. where he's safe, he should be arrested and prosecuted.  The Rule of Law demands it.  I make this very reasonable comment on Huff Po, one that many other commentators made as well, and mine is singled out.  Huff Po is a tool of the corporatocracy.  It is owned by Time Warner AOL, and it acts like it.

Huffington Post reviews a supportive comment about Ted Nugent.

October 23, 2013, 12:10 PM

I love Ted Nugent. I love that hat of his and that snarky sneering look on his face. Go, Ted Nugent. Shoot. Kill animals. Threaten. Yea, Ted Nugent.

-------------------------------------------------

So here's the deal people.  NSA spying infuriates me. There is a way to fight back.   It's called Monkeywrenching. NSA's spying systems rely on pattern recognition. Monkeywrenching can render the data NSA collects meaningless. NSA uses the "Like" button to document our friends, interests, purchases, travels, and political views.

We can use the "Like" button to overwhelm NSA with contradictory information. "Like" everything. "Like" trolls. "Like" spam. "Like" things you hate. "Like" things you don't know or care about. "Like" the KKK, Pat Robertson, Ted Cruz, Obamacare, vaccines, the EPA, and the NSA. Scroll through news stories and "Like" every article. "Like" every product advertised.

Also "tag" everything, but tag it wrong. Misidentify everything you see. Every photo posted on FB, post a comment identifying the contents incorrectly. Finally, pack your FB pabe with hundreds of movie, book, and TV show titles that are all unrelated and none of which you would actually watch or read. Gorge the Internet Beast until it pukes.

I posted the comment regarding Ted Nugent as part of my monkeywrenching scheme.  The NSA computers do not know that.  I hate Ted Nugent and everything he stands for.  I've posted many comments to that effect.  Now, I'm writing a supportive comment about Teddy.  Interestingly, although there were several negative comments below the article about the Teddy Bear, Huff Po reviewers (sic) censored my positive comment about the Gold Nugent.  go figure.

I am not pixels. If you want to know who I really am, you will have to meet me in person.

HuffPo "reviews" a common sense comment on smog

October 211, 2013, 8:14 AM

China's smog demonstrates exactly what American smog would be if not for the EPA.  Business says there are too many regulations.  I say, Hooray for regulations!  Business wants to eliminate regulation so it can do whatever it wants without regard for the consequences.  Business will not regulate itself.  The marketplace will not regulate polluters.  Only government, which has the best interests of We The People at heart, will regulate polluters.

---------------------------------------------------
HuffPo "reviewers" come out on the side of polluters, business, and capital once again.  Today's Huffington Post contained an article describing pollution in Harbin, northern China, that was 40 times the level considered the red-line or maximum allowable amount of particulate matter.  The sky was so thick with pollution that citizens could not see more than 10 yards in some places.  I pointed out (see above comment) that the situation in Harbin is exactly what we would have in America if not for the EPA.  China does not effectively regulate its polluters.  It does that so it can compete more effectively with other countries' manufacturing.  That is the reason that American manufacturers use to complain about too much regulation.  It is a simple logical step to conclude that if not for government regulation of polluters, American air would be as polluted as China's  Apparently that is too radical a statement for Huffington Post to allow.

HuffPo's hypocritical "reviewing" policy

October 18, 2013, 3:14 PM

One thing I've noticed is that Allen West can get coverage in HuffPo, but my comments pointing out how ridiculous he is are "reviewed" by commentators (i.e., censors). If you want to read the comments I've made on HuffPo that have been reviewed, go to http://huffingtonpostcomments.blogspot.com/

----------------------------

Huffington Post does not like people commenting on Huffington Post's comments policy apparently.  Allen West can get published on HuffPo anytime he says anything, no matter how ridiculous.  Today he called Obama a "tyrant" and Huff Po published that.  So I commented -- see the post from today at 3:05 PM -- that Allen West is God's horrifying attempt to teach the United States a lesson.  That comment got reviewed and so did my comment on the comment.

So, I commented on the commenting policy as follows, and that was reviewed as well:

"Allen West calling Obama a tyrant gets published in Huffington Post. Comments calling Allen West the "horrifying way God is trying to teach the United States a lesson" are reviewed. To to huffingtonpostcomments (dot) blogspot (dot) com to see many more "reviewed" comments."

The insidious fact about Huffington Post is that it masquerades as a liberal media outlet, but in fact it is in its own way just as repressive as Fox News.

Allen West is the horrifying way . . .

October 18, 2013, 3:05 PM

I often place the headline from the story below onto the one I'm reading. In this case, the headline below this Allen West story reads: The Horrifying Way A School Employee Decided To Teach Kids A Lesson. Attached to a story about Allen West saying Obama is a tyrant, it reads this way: Allen West is the horrifying way God decided to teach the United States a lesson.

Comment on Allen West saying Obama acting like a spoiled brat

October 12, 2013, 11:07PM

Allen West needs to look up the word "projection." He is projecting a quality of his (and of his party) onto the President. It is pathognomic for mental illness and it is a characteristic of the Republican party.

----------------------

Allen West is but one example of the decline of intelligence in America and most significantly in the Republican party.  It's not funny anymore.  It is sad, it is tragic, and worse, it is really, really dangerous.  Uneducated people can easily be manipulated.

Ben Carson and ACA worse than slavery.

October 12, 2013, 12:35 PM

Ben Carson is a neurosurgeon!?! Really? Really? Ben Carson is the worst thing to happen to African Americans since slavery (with the exception of Clarence Thomas and Herman Cain and OJ)

-------------------------------------
I don't know why HuffPo censors felt this comment needed reviewing.  Ben Carson is an embarrassment to human beings or all races as well as to African American human beings.

Reviewed comment on Santorum thinking about a 2016 campaign for president

October 12, 2013, 9:26 PM

Given the rate at which Santorum's thought process operates, he may be done thinking by 2018.

-------------------------------
Oh, HuffPo censors, why, why, why would you review a comment like this?  Does it bother you that I think Rick Santorum is a slow thinker?  Do you have some evidence that he is really a fast thinker?  Because based on his public statements he hasn't yet thought his way out of feudal, middle-ages thinking.  You make it too easy to mock you, HuffPo.  Way too easy.

GOP in Death Throes

October 11, 2013, 5:12 PM

Cutting Social Security and Medicare was one goal all along.  If they can't deprive citizens of medical care (A.C.A.) then the Republickspittles will try and deprive citizens of something else they need to live, like their retirement or the medical care they already paid for.  The article says the GOP is in its death throes.  I hope so.  Euthanize them.

-------------------------------------
Only the psychotic fan base of the Tea Party, the 24% who still favor them and who always have, still believes in the Republickspittles.  These are people who hear voices apparently and who have delusions.  It is helpful to realize, I think, that the nation appears to have about a quarter of its population that is deranged.  They vote against their own self-interest.  They are mentally ill.

If Bachmann's right and we're living in End Times, many species will be grateful

October 8, 2013, 1:23 PM PDT

I hope Michele Bachmann is right and we really are living in the End Times.  Climatologists agree with her, but on the basis of hard evidence, not Bachmann's religious beliefs.  We human beings are warming ourselves into extinction.  Planet Earth will be a much better place without us, and we have no one to blame but ourselves for our extinction.

If they survive, the polar bears will be grateful, and the snow leopards, and the elephants because there won't be any poachers hunting them for their tusks.  The ocean's fish will be grateful, because without overfishing, their populations may increase.  Harp seals will be grateful, because no one will be clubbing their babies to death for their pelts.  Coyotes and wolves will be grateful.  So will grizzly bears.  The pine forests decimated by bark beetles will be grateful, because without humans warming the planet, the cold weather that kept the beetles in check will return.

Sadly for Bachmann, there will be no Rapture, no ascension into heaven.  Just death, Michele, death from having no water to drink.

-------------------------------
Earth and the process of evolution that continues here whether Republicans allow it to be taught in the schools or not will continue long after human beings are gone.  If we heat ourselves to extinction before we create autonomous robots then machines will not replace us as the dominant species on the planet.  Every day, we humans prove that as a species we are unfit for survival.  Bachmann illustrates the point forcefully.

Comment on Michele Bachmann saying we live in End Times

October 7, 2013, 5:19 PM

Michele Bachmann knows we are living in End Times because she, the Tea Party, and the radical Republicans have created the End Times.  God did not create the End Times, because there is no God.  Michele Bachmann is proof of that. No loving God could create a Michele Bachmann.  Human beings create evil with the evil that they do, so there is no Satan either.  Just evil human beings doing evil deeds.

----------------------------------
One of the reasons I created this blog is because I am sick and tired of politicians (sic) like Bachmann having sole access to the media.  I am sick and tired of Huffington Post censors restricting access to the Huffington Post forum.  Bachmann is not censored (nor should she be;  thankfully we have the First Amendment to the Constitution that allows me to comment just as it allows her to), but my comments are.  Bachmann can get any insane comment placed on the Internet.  Her comments are based on deism and reinforce the electorate's bizarre beliefs.  Bachmann puts people into what psychologists call an "authority trance."  When Bachmann, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity, or others bloviate, the electorate goes into a trance, their critical faculties shut down, and they lose the ability to discriminate observable fact from the speaker's construction of reality.

Comment on Republicans' unpopularity.

October 7, 2013

Republicans are as unpopular as crab lice, as unpopular as herpes.

----------------------------

The Republican party is unpopular with 70% of Americans, but censors at Huffington Post won't immediately approve a comment highlighting that fact.  Makes me wonder if the censors at Huffington Post work for the Tea Party or the 30% of Americans that approve of the Republicans' terrorist act of holding the nation hostage.

Response to Krugmark the Magnificent who said capitulation is compromise

October 5, 2013, 11:4 AM

I disagree.  Yes, extremism is ruining the nation.  Extreme, anti-scientific  attitudes toward global warming are ruining the very planet we live on.  Extreme attitudes toward gun ownership, profit, and wealth are ruining the country.  Extreme attitudes toward a woman's right to choose, abortion, contraception, and pot smoking are ruining the country.  The extremists on one side are using terrorist tactics (shut-down, debt ceiling, filibuster) to try and get their way when democratic process doesn't work.  I fear that a false compromise will destroy social security and medicare.  That would be capitulation, not moderate compromise.

Blaming Obama for what the 1% is doing

October 5, 2013,  10:26 AM

It is so easy for some to blame Obama for this mess.  I disagree with a lot of what he's done (not pushing for universal medical care; NSA spying; drone program) but he is not solely responsible for this mess.  He's up against the Koch brothers and a cabal of the 1% who are determined to wreck the nation so they can take it over and run it like a medieval fiefdom.

American social order breaks down and a police state follows

October 5, 2013, 8:43 AM

America's future prospects do not look good.  In one scenario, the system continues to break down and battles erupt between the majority disadvantaged (who are like the Shiites of Iraq) and the minority advantaged (the wealthy who have controlled America for a long time and are like the Sunnis and have private armies and brainwashed supporters).  The breakdown convinces citizens to elect (in a rigged vote) a "strong leader" who is a tool of the wealthy (think Ted Cruz) who will "restore order."  Restoring order will result in murders by death squads, car bombings, and martial law.  Fracking will increase.  Pipelines will be built. Homosexuals will be murdered.  Abortions will be illegal.  Contraception will be denied.  America will become like Iraq, Afghanistan, Chile under Pinochet, Liberia under Taylor, or Zimbabwe under Mugabe.  The factions at war in D.C. right now may not have an "end game" like this in mind, but the 1% and the corporations that operate America for their profit certainly do.  They've been doing this in foreign countries for decades.  Now the evil we have done abroad is coming home.

Street Punk Ass Al Qaeda-In-America Republicans do a Drive-By on America

October 3, 2013, 11:39 AM

When Republican Representative Marlin Stuzman says "We're not going to be disrespected," he's talking like a street punk, which is basically what he is.  He is thinking like the Crips and Bloods.  Unfortunately for America, Stuzman and the Taliban-Republicans have gotten access to weapons, the shut down and the debt ceiling.  They didn't have to pass a background check, unfortunately, because they have a mental illness that would have prevented them from obtaining a weapon.   "We have to get something out of this. And I don't know what that even is," Sutzman said.  There is punk-ass thinking for you.  The Al Qaeda-in-America Republicans are doing a drive-by shooting on America.  Already thousands have been wounded.  Take their weapons away now!

The Terrorist Wing of the GOP

October 2, 2013, 12:30 PM

The majority of Americans want an end to the government shut down.  A majority of the House wants an end to the shut down.  However, the terrorists in charge of the fanatical wing of the GOP keep blowing up bombs in the marketplace of American political and economic life.  The Tea Party and the fanatical wing of the Republican Party are the American equivalent of the Taliban or Al Qaeda.  The are thoughtless, mindless, brainless monsters who will never win.  They are not political actors, they are religious fanatics, and they don't mind killing kids with cancer, old people, and working class Americans in a futile attempt to scare Americans into surrendering.

GOP is the American Al Qaeda

October 1, 2013, 8:02 PM

The GOP is the American Al Qaeda.  They are terrorists.  The government shut down is the equivalent of exploding a car bomb in the market place of our government.

8/19/13 to 9/30/13: Comments reviewed or deleted by Huffington Post

8/19/13. 9:00 AM.
Government got tricked by "law makers" who said, "we'll propose a consequence so heinous that it will force the two sides to cooperate." The Very Important People could not imagine that the Republicans (some of who are the self-same Very Important People) would force the heinous consequence. And they did. Now the children pay. The poor pay. No benefits were cut for the wealthy. No taxes were increased. The Right demands an end to birth control and abortions and as soon as the child is born it becomes a liability that must be denied benefits or assistance.

Bradley Manning is a real American hero.  Thank you Bradley Manning for your sacrifice on behalf of America.  At the Nuremberg Trials a legal principle was enunciated that it is a crime not to take action against or oppose a regime that is killing and torturing innocent civilians.  If Nuremberg were convened today, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Libby, Wolfowitz would be charged, convicted, and hanged.  If Obama had a shred of dignity or self-respect he would commute Manning's sentence immediately, as Bush commuted "Scooter" Libby's sentence.

I would like to see Congress put up a whale of a fight to assert Congress's sole role to declare war. Obama is apparently going to attack Syria without a declaration of war from Congress. These twits, Republican and Democrat, are fiddling around while America's Constitution is being shredded by the Executive.

8/29/13, 10:25 AM

Cuccinelli brings to mind recent research from Austria where scientists have created miniature human brains from stem cells.  Their report states "These small collections of tissue aren’t capable of thought and are much smaller than a fully developed brain...."   I don''t know why the scientists had to use stem cells to grow miniature brains that are not capable of thought when they could have studied Cuccinelli.

8/31/13. 4:19 PM

Even if the Assad regime gassed its own people, that is no reason to invade. The reason Obama wants to invade Syria has to do with America's collective guilt about the genocide we perpetrated on the Native American People. If Obama attacks the entire Middle East will explode, Israel will attack, probably Iran, and Israel will expand its territory. Russia will get involved on the side of Syria. Shakespeare said it in Julius Caesar: "Cry 'Havoc' and let slip the dogs of war." Only the corporations of Big War will rejoice.

I wouldn't be so certain Ariel Castro's death was a suicide. I predicted he wouldn't make it a month in prison, and he didn't. Just because he was isolated from the main population doesn't mean someone couldn't get to him. Anybody who says different doesn't know anything about prisons. Also, he could as well have been murdered by guards as by other prisoners. Being a "short-eyes" in prison is a death sentence.

9/4/13, 3.24 PM

I think it is highly unlikely that Castro killed himself. I think it is much more likely that guards or other inmates hung him in such a way that it looked like suicide. I predicted he wouldn't last a month in prison and he didn't. Remember Father Geohegan, the pedophile priest? He didn't last a month either. "Short Eyes" is a death sentence in prison.

9/8/13. 12:59 PM

Mr. Secretary Kerry:

- The U.S.'s use of depleted uranium munitions in Iraq was unacceptable.
- The U.S.'s use of napalm in Vietnam was unacceptable.
- The U.S.'s use of phosphorous munitions in Vietnam was unacceptable.
I detest your attitude and the attitude of my government that when the U.S. commits a heinous act it is acceptable, but when a regime the Military Industrial Complex wants to overthrow commits a heinous act, it is unacceptable. The only component of our nation that wants to attack Syria is Big Defense and Big Military. Big Defense and Big Military are doing the bidding of AIPAC and Israel. Big Defense and Big Military will not pay my student loan and will not expand mental health care in my community. Big Defense and Big Military suck resources from America that could be helping us build a stronger nation. STOP.

9/20/13, 4:37 PM

The 1%-ers who back these republican lickspittles will make billions from manipulating the market through their toadyies' threats to shut down the government.

9/24/13, 6:10 PM

Cruz is so tea party.  It's all about hijacking.  Hijacking is what terrorists do.  When terrorists cannot win an election because they have insufficient support, they resort to hijacking.  Cruz is basically a suicide bomber.  He is committing political suicide by hijacking the Senate.  Hurt as many people as possible.  Ruin lives.  Destroy institutions.  Cruz is the perfect embodiment of the tea party.

9/24/13, 8:40 PM

It is no surprise that humans are polluting space faster than Nature can clean it up, because that is exactly what we are doing to our planet. Fracking is only the latest desecration. We have spilled oil and destroyed entire ecosystems. We have warmed the planet causing worse tornadoes and rising sea levels. Science has demonstrated all this, proved it conclusively. Yet the no-nothings continue to deny and corporations continue to pollute. We humans do not deserve to survive, because we are too foolish. We are Homo imprudens, the species that could not foresee the consequences of its behavior.

9/25/13, 11:56 AM

Oh, the power!  The power! this weak man (Ted Cruz) wields.  What a total narcissist!  A weak, weenie of a man, primping and prancing on the media's stage and believing he actually has some power, feeling strong for a moment and for just that moment forgetting about the nagging voice in his head saying, "You are weak.  You are unimportant.  You are unlovable."

9/29/13, 8:09 AM

The GOP are like pedophile priests, they won't stop until they are exposed and made to pay for their sick behavior.

9/30/13, 1:12 PM

The Tea Party and the radical wing of the GOP is like the NRA when it wants to give guns to teachers.  The Tea Party and the GOP is determined to shoot unarmed citizens, i.e., We The People, who have done nothing but pay our taxes and expect to get services in return.

9/30/13, 1:14 PM

The radical wing of the GOP and the Tea Party are the George Zimmermans of politics. The GOP should not be allowed to possess the filibuster until they have passed a mental health exam.

9/30/13, 1:16 PM

The Congress consists of the American versions of Shiites and Sunnis.  The threat to shut down the government is like a car bomb in a market in Baghdad.

Introduction

I have become angry that reviewers at Huffington Post regularly delay publication of my comments or delete them.  Apparently I am on some kind of list, and almost everything I write is reviewed.  I am a progressive, and perhaps Huffington Post dislikes that.  I am always polite, and I do not use profanity.  I am not a troll.  What irritates me is that Huffington Post allows all sorts of right wing trolls to comment without censorship.

Beginning on August 19, 2013, I have copied every one of my posts to Huffington Post that was reviewed and either published much later or deleted.  I am posting all of these comments here.  Subsequently, I will post comments that I make on Huffington Post that are reviewed or deleted at the time of posting.

My goal is to get my very reasonable comments out on the 'Net.  My goal is to do an end-run on the censors at Huffington Post.  I also want to expose the Time Warner owned Huffington Post for being a tool of the corporatocracy that operates America and much of the world for it profit.  Finally, I believe in We The People.  The Internet belongs to us.
